Coronavirus (COVID-19) update June 2020

Please see below update on the actions the Trust is taking regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The community centre remains closed until further notice and all meetings and groups are cancelled. We are looking into measures following recent Government guidance to partially reopen the centre.

All playgrounds in the village remain closed and must not be used.

Scott has returned to work collecting litter with new measures to keep him safe. You must take note of social distancing measures when approaching him.

We would like to reiterate again the importance of keeping the village clean and tidy. We thank those of you that have been conscientious and have taken your litter with you.

We ask everyone to take responsibility for their litter and use the bins provided or take it home and dispose of it. During periods of good weather (such as the bank holidays) the bins filled up very quickly and litter was left on grass areas and around bins. Litter must not be placed by the bins, only within. When bins are full, it should be disposed of using your regular London Borough of Enfield refuse collection. Leaving sacks of rubbish (as well as bulkier items) is classed as fly tipping. Animals can rip these open and the contents will be strewn across the park, spoiling the environment for everyone.

We ask all residents and visitors to continue to follow the latest government advice and keep at least two metres away from each other while moving around the village and only gathering in groups where permitted.
