Here is an update on the actions the Trust is taking regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).
- The community centre remains closed until further notice and all meetings and groups are cancelled.
- All playgrounds in the village remain closed and must not be used.
The board of Trustees feel that it is no longer appropriate for Scott to walk the village collecting litter. We have asked our managing agent to investigate alternative arrangements that can be put in place until it is safe for Scott to return to work. Scott’s safety is our primary concern and we hope that all residents understand our decision.
Now more than ever we need people to take responsibility for their litter and use the bins provided or take it home and dispose of it. Sacks of household rubbish must not be left by the bins and should be disposed of using your regular London Borough of Enfield bin collection. Leaving sacks of rubbish is fly tipping, animals can rip these open and the contents will be strewn across the park spoiling the environment for everyone.
We ask all residents and visitors to comply with the latest government advice and keep at least 2 metres away from each other while moving around the village and avoid gathering in groups.
